I could never do what she does...

I hear that all the time...and I used to think the same thing when I would see people working out or eating healthy meals. But...I had to do something. I wan't happy with myself...so I knew I had to start. 

Well...it started with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Yep, that's right. A sugary cereal was the beginning of my health journey. You'll have to watch below to learn how I've progressed. 

Point is...starting is the hardest part. Then, we just learn as we go.

Overeat on healthy food?

​Most definitely. 

I have had great success over the years on my weight loss journey - but I've been stuck at a plateau for around a year or so. 

I'll be honest - I'm not really trying to lose weight anymore - but I know that with the amount of work I was putting in during my workouts and what I THOUGHT I was doing for my nutrition - I had hoped my body would continue to change more than it was.

I can't even believe it when I actually see my total transformation placed side by side. I fully remember that person on the left. I was trying to eat healthy...because I had an upcoming wedding in a few months. 

Man oh man...if I could go back and do what I've learned in the last few weeks. 

What did I learn? I eat too much fruit, not enough protein, and WAY too much cheese and avocado. 

How did I learn this? 

When I finally decided to give those "color-coded containers" I've had in my cabinet for years a shot...I started seeing results almost immediately. I actually measured out my food so I knew I was eating the right amounts.  I actually ate the right amounts of each type of food - instead of thinking - grapes are healthy...how can I gain weight if I'm eating grapes?? 

Well - insert the last 21 days...and I'm a believer. I was over-eating on healthy foods. Many of my friends learned the same thing. We all had awesome results when we took the time to learn about nutrition and the right amount of food our bodies needed. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE!
